2. Data We Collect
Through this website we may collect the following personal data:
- Contact form: name, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry.
- Booking system: full name, email address, telephone number, date and time of the booking, number of players, requested extras (equipment hire, buggies, etc.) and, where applicable, the payment details required to process the booking.
- Browsing data: IP address, date and time of access, and other information collected through cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
The data requested in fields marked as mandatory is necessary to process your request; failure to provide it will make it impossible to do so.
3. Purposes of Processing
Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- To manage bookings for green fees, lessons, tournaments and other services offered by Golf Pollensa.
- To handle enquiries, requests or complaints submitted through the contact form, by telephone or by email.
- To manage invoicing and payment for the services contracted.
- To send commercial communications about Golf Pollensa's services, tournaments and promotions, only where the user has given their express consent.
- To compile anonymous statistics on website usage in order to improve it.
4. Legal Basis
The legal basis for processing is, depending on the case:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): management of bookings and provision of the services requested.
- Consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): handling of enquiries and sending of commercial communications. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): improvement of our services and website.
- Compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): tax, accounting and commercial obligations.
5. Retention Period
Data will be kept for as long as the relationship with the user is maintained and, once it has ended, for the periods legally required to address any potential liabilities (as a general rule, up to 6 years under the Spanish Commercial Code and 4 years for tax purposes). Data processed on the basis of consent will be kept until such consent is withdrawn.
6. Recipients
Data will not be disclosed to third parties except where legally required (tax authorities, courts and tribunals) or where necessary for the provision of the service. Data may be accessed by service providers working for the owner (web hosting, booking platform, payment gateway, IT services), who act as data processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and under appropriate contractual safeguards.
No international transfers of data are made outside the European Economic Area. Should such transfers become necessary in the future, they would be carried out with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

The controller has adopted the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security and integrity of personal data and to prevent its loss, alteration or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the data and the risks to which it is exposed.
9. Minors
This website is not intended for children under the age of 14. Should the owner become aware that a child under 14 has provided personal data without the consent of their parents or guardians, such data will be deleted.
10. Amendments
The owner reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to new legislation or case law. Users are advised to read it each time they access the website.
